Ohza's clothing launch

This past weekend Kaizen Magazine hung out at Ohza's Clothing launch in Pimville, Soweto. The event was perfect(Timing, Venue and Day). The event was sponsored by Soweto TV and RedBull , Mpho ''Ohza'' was very excited about his clothing launch and said that we were going to have a good time. Indeed Kaizen had a blast....

The place was overflowing with youngsters wearing bright, colourful and very bold colours sneakers.

The ladies were looking even more nicer, putting an effort to look good for a sunday afternoon gig. Summer dresses were the order of the day.

Dj Lemonka and popular dance crew, Soweto's Finests brought the whole venue to a stand still. Lemonka delivered some nice Hip Hop tunes and Sowto's Finest showed the crowd why their are called one of the best in Africa.

However, the glory moment for Soweto's Finest was short-lived when it started to rain. A number of well known South African artists were scheduled for the line-up such as Kwesta, 985, Flabba. the event was not well planned, there were continous power cuts and to make matters even worse it started to rain.

FASHION: International street wear

We picked up this image on the sartorialist blog. This was updated in January 2010 and we love the whole outfit and how it's being put together.

This gentlement looks like a revolutionist, we dig his combination of red, black and grey.

Urban Street Wear

Our fashion editor and trend tracker, Nhlanhla Mahoto took these lovely pictures of the craziest crew to hit Mzansi street fashion.
These guys are known as the Smarteez, Holla when you see them

Key item: Blazer

Lethabo Tsatsinyane aka “Litter” rockin’ his trade mark look...an otherwise interesting and
brave combination of colour and texture. In this pic he’s wearing a pair of red skinny jeans, a purple linen blazer with a flower broach complementing the floral detailed shirt finishing it with a white slim belt and a yellow bow.

 Belts, belts, belts!!!

Tumza in the green gingham shirt that has yellow and navy blue pin tuck detail with a red bow tie and pink shades while Kepi opts for a more direct interpretation of “the old school” in a pink ruffle blouse that creatively contrasts with the black suspenders...!

Inspired by colour...

Thabiso the young one, on a play of colour and style...we love how he coordinates his neutrals on the top and the brights on the bottom. Nwice!
